RIP Bea Arthur!
Just a little tribute to Golden Girls Bea Arthur who passed away yesterday from Cancer… Dunno what kind… she’s not a family member of mine, of course but as a tv star, she was always one of my favorites, To this day I always liked the golden girls and it sure wouldn’t be the same had it still be on the air!
RIP Bea! You are for sure missed by many family and friends and fans who always enjoyed your acting and will for years to come on all reruns!

Excellent entry, Ran–I’m sure you’re right–Bea Arthur was a terrific comedienne, and she will be missed; however, all those reruns will continue for many years, I’m sure, and other young people like you will get to see her as part of their lives, too. Good job!

you should write more, and you especially should write more play scripts, like you used to
remember those?
(and i used to watch ‘maude’ even tho somebody (gramma) didn’t allow it)
(she was maude, long before she was dorothy)
(ask gramma about that, if you don’t understand, randi, or don’t, unless you want mommy to be in trouble in spite of her old age)

I have seen both Maude and Golden Girls (and probably other things Ms. Arthur has appeared in). You are right. She will certainly be missed. Her memory lives on in her work.
