Just a note to wish everyone a Safe and Happy New year! New years eve is tonight and New years Day is Tomorrow and I hope everyone has a safe but VERY FUN time! Tonight at the stroke of midnight will officially be 2008! YAY!  The year has sure gone by fast! Happy 2008 to all, Hope everyone has a year of all that is good!

HAPPY 2008!!

     Thought I’d share  a couple of pictures of me and my Great Grampa and one of only him.   Today was his wake and funeral, and I must  say, he looked so much at peice and VERY HAPPY!  And, it makes me feel a lil bit happier  knowing that he’s not hurting and suffering anymore! Today’s get together was at my Granny’s, they had Sandwhiches, Gumbo, poatoe salad and lots of other stuff. And of course, it was nice visiting with everyone!  The service was really beautiful.  Well, I guess I’ll end it here, We’ll all miss him of course, but I know life for him right now is such a HAPPY  life, HAPPIER then our own imagination will ever let us imagine! And, that’s all I ever wanted for my Grampa, to be the happy and proud man that he used to be!  I miss and love him VERY MUCH!!

Today I’m afraid that there is some SAD news to report,  My Great Grandpa who was in Raceland manor nursing home  for five years died this morning  of old age, I was very young before he got his alzheimers deciese so I can’t say much about that, all I remember is hime bein there for his wife, kids, and Grandkids and Great grandkids,  I wish I knew him before he really got sick!  My Grandpa had lots goin for him, he was smart, talented and a very charming man and he was also very funny, and had a very outgoing personailty and was very down to earth!   A few weeks ago he got sent back to the nursing home with the hospice program and sadly he left this earth this morning! What had put him on death’s door was that he wasn’t eating, not remembering anybody which I think was everybody’s major concern when he first got diagnosed with alzheimers deciese, and he wasn’t responding to any of us at all which we knew just from that alone that something wasn’t right!  We’ll all miss him, of course, but I know he’s happier then he’s been in a long time and is happy and proud like he used to be!  He is no longer suffering and in pain  anymore!

10. WORST CHRISTMAS GIFT YOU EVER RECEIVED? Nothing!  (And, I don’t mean I got nothing, that just means nothing was a bad gift!)  lol

12. FAVORITE CHRISTMAS MOVIE?  I like A Christmas story when that boy wanted a red riter BB gun, and I like Christmas cartoons, Regular Tv shows that I watch year around that has a Christmas special!

13. WHEN DO YOU START SHOPPING FOR CHRISTMAS? whenever I can…lol

14. HAVE YOU EVER RECYCLED A CHRISTMAS PRESENT? Not that I recall.

15. FAVORITE THING TO EAT AT CHRISTMAS?  The regular stuff!  Ham, Turkey, Roast, corn, baked spagetti, and lots of other stuff…lol

16. CLEAR LIGHTS OR COLORED LIGHTS ON THE TREE? That kinbda things varies for most people I think.

17. FAVORITE CHRISTMAS SONG? Do you hear what I hear, The  first Noelle,  Winter wonderland, and so much more, I can’t name  them all!

18. TRAVEL AT CHRISTMAS OR STAY HOME? I usually like to go places.

19. CAN YOU NAME ALL OF SANTA’S REINDEER? Now, Dasher! Now Dancer! Now, Prancer and Vixen! On Comet! On Cupid! On, Donder and Blitzen! (*cough* and Rudolph) (I stole that answer …lol) I doubt I could have answered it.)

20. ANGEL OR STAR ON THE TREE TOP? Doesn’t matter to me!

22. MOST ANNOYING THING THIS TIME OF YEAR? The weather, U never know for sure how to dress, U get used to dressing one way, and the the weather changes again!

23. WHAT DO YOU LOVE MOST ABOUT CHRISTMAS? Family and seeing the reactions on people’s faces after opening a gift from you.

Today was fun and long, I went with my Gramma  to eat  breakfast at blackies, and when I came back from doing that,  My Dad called me and wanted to hang out for the day so we went visit my PaPa, then we got some lunch and while we ate, we watched the simpsons movie, it was quite funny! Then after my Dad took a lil   “cat nap” we went  bring some envlopes to my Aunt Chris and visited there awhile and then I came back home and had popeyes for supper and they really don’t have a lot on the ball  over there,   they told us they were running out of chicken!  now, Running out of chicken at a chicken place, that makes NO since to me!  But whata gonna do??  Nothing!! oh well!   Well, that’s my day!  Long, but fun!

   Here it goes!  A duck goes into a bar and asks the barteneder  “Got bread?”   The bartender says No!  The next day, the duck goes back and asks   “Got bread?”  The bartender says No!  The next day the duck goes and asks  “Got Bread?”  The bartender says  NO!!  And if u come back tomorrow and ask me that, I’m gonna nail your beak to this counter!  The next day the duck goes and asks  “Got nails?”  and the bartender says, No, why?    The duck says  “Got bread?”      lolol….My Mom and Gramma will probly think I’m silly for posting this but from the moment I heard this, i thought It was pretty funny and I was havin trouble thinking of what to write about and figured this would be perfect!     lol…

       Today we had a get together at My Gramma’s for Christmas, opeing gifts and just visiting, Here are a few pics of the gathering!  My Gramma just said I was stealing them from her site…lolol, I need pics to put up sometimes! lol…  Tonight for supper, My Mom ordered us pizza which was good!  We’re not doing much tonight, just hanging out and maybe watchin shrek 3 later.  Have a good night!

We didn’t do anything much today! We woke up late, and went shoppin for grocries,  NOT FUN!    Then, we came back and just relaxed for the day, and took care of lunch, I didn’t wanna eat anywear so I just ate here, and this afternoon we sat on the porch and visted out there which is always nice! Then we started tending to supper, Ribeye steaks and garlic mashed potaotes, YUM!! Well, that’s my day,  I know, almost not worth posting but I wanted to write a lil something!
